I have known about my issues with fertility since I was young. So, you can imagine my surprise when I became pregnant with my son Elliott, entirely “naturally.” His presence in our lives has been an absolute blessing. Unfortunately, we have not been blessed again. Michael and I have been going through the grueling process of fertility treatments for almost four years now. We have spent almost $30,000 on various treatments, surgery’s, medications, hormones, intrauterine inseminations and now IVF. We currently have 9 embryo’s that have been genetically tested and approved for transfer. Four of them are girls and five of them are boys. However, we are absolutely drained from this process. I have a limited amount of time to be physically able to maintain a pregnancy for 9 months. So, it is vital we transfer an embryo as quickly as we can. In order to participate in the transfer, we must raise an additional $5,000 to pay for the procedure. Despite our ability to pay for previous procedures, we are unable to come up with this much money quickly. We would be grateful for any donation to help us have our 2nd and last baby.
